Blue Sage, also known as "Grandmother sage", is a close relative to White Sage. It is a hearty bush found in the deserts of the Southwest, characterically known for its bright blue flowers. It is fragrant and herbaceous, with clearing and healing properties similar to White sage, but is less pungent. Those who are sensitive to white sage might prefer blue sage as an alternative.
